Ah The Racing Industry!!! It can only be described as a passion of Love, sure money comes into the equation. We all wish to train or own the next Farlap, Secretariate, or Cigar. Maybe we can be lucky enough to stumble across the next Northern Dancer? We know they are out there, but Where?
The truth is that nobody realy knows for sure. Or maybe all our prospects for glory are being stiffled before they even make it to the track, by injury and oversight. Most injury occurs by mismanagement and oversight....The push for the almighty dollar can sometimes force our animals into situations of over excertion, fatigue, and depresion. These all have an effect on preformance, and is the number one cause of most injury.
My mission is to provide an alternative, if only by opion and experience... please feel free to contact me. I am all to often sent horses that need to be rebroke or maybe broke properly. Some lack the preformance they once portrade for reasons a trainer or vetrinarian can not establish.
In todays Racing Industry I see trainers who arn't horsemen, and horsemen (woman) who don't train just because of the beurocracy of it all. As unfortunate as this sounds it is not a lost cause.
